GreenGate Partners advises Qdrant on Series B for USD 50 million
Munich, March 13, 2026 — The Berlin-based technology company Qdrant has raised USD 50 million in a Series B financing round. Qdrant intends to use the fresh capital to accelerate the further development of its technology platform and drive its international expansion. The commercial law firm GreenGate Partners advised Qdrant on this transaction.
Qdrant is developing a powerful open source vector database for artificial intelligence (AI) applications. The technology enables companies to efficiently manage large amounts of unstructured data — including text, images, audio and video — and search it in the form of high-dimensional vector embeddings.
In recent years, vector databases have become a central infrastructure component of modern AI applications. They form the basis for numerous areas of application, including semantic search, recommendation systems, anomaly detection and retrieval augmented generation (RAG).
The funds from the financing round will be invested in particular in the further development of the platform, the expansion of the engineering and product teams and the global distribution of Qdrant’s vector search infrastructure. This will further position the company as an important building block in the rapidly growing global AI technology ecosystem.
