Bird & Bird advises NürnbergMesse on acquisition of Forum
Munich — Bird & Bird LLP has advised NürnbergMesse GmbH on the acquisition of an 80% majority stake in FORUM SA, the Greek market leader for exhibition events.
With sales of around EUR 17.5 million, the Athens subsidiary will be the largest foreign subsidiary of NürnbergMesse GmbH. NürnbergMesse GmbH is already present with subsidiaries in Brazil, China, India, Italy and the USA and organizes exhibitions worldwide. The exhibitions organized by FORUM SA and NürnbergMesse GmbH also overlap in terms of content in the areas of (organic) food, beverages and gastronomy.
