POELLATH advises Maxburg on the acquisition of AAC Praxisberatung
Munich — Maxburg Beteiligungen IV GmbH & Co. KG (“Maxburg”), an investment company advised by Maxburg Capital Management GmbH, has entered into a partnership with AAC Praxisberatung AG (“AAC”), the leading software-based service provider for controlling and auditing the billing of physicians in the German statutory health insurance system. POELLATH advised Maxburg on tax law in connection with the transaction.
AAC, based in Berlin, has been supporting doctors in private practice for over 20 years in running their practices in an economically secure and transparent manner. The company specializes in billing controlling as well as plausibility and profitability analyses for registered doctors of almost all specialties and medical care centers (MVZ). With the AAC-Praxisnavigator®, AAC also offers a digital management tool that helps practices to increase fees and minimize risks. The company can look back on many years of expertise: over 13,000 practices and numerous MVZs have been advised since its foundation.
With over 50 employees, AAC’s solutions not only serve statutory health insurance companies, but also other segments such as pharmaceuticals.
