Max Otte was one of the very few who fore­saw the collapse of the world finan­cial markets in his best­sel­ler ‘The Crash is Coming’. In his new work, he is shar­ply criti­cal of the unde­si­ra­ble deve­lo­p­ments in our infor­ma­tion society. First and fore­most, the incre­asing defi­cits that the Inter­net reve­als. Otte bases his alar­ming findings, among other things, on the major finan­cial portals, which, accor­ding to him, have muta­ted into “pure sales events” and, when in doubt, deli­bera­tely provide users with harmful or even false information.
