Vertical Ads Group takes over DEFACTO GmbH
Nuremberg — Future secured for DEFACTO GmbH — With the integration of the technology business of the Erlangen-based CRM agency Defacto into the Nuremberg-based Vertical Ads Group, a future-oriented solution has been realized. The continuation of the tech division and the safeguarding of technological know-how are thus on a sustainable basis.
Concentro Management AG successfully supported the structured investor process for DEFACTO GmbH
together with the insolvency administrator Volker Böhm
of the law firm Schultze & Braun. In November, the Vertical Ads Group in Nuremberg took over the
location in Erlangen benefit from this solution.
The Vertical Ads Group started as an affiliate marketing network in 2006 and was founded by CEO Ralf
Fischer. According to the company, it now employs more than 200 people
Defacto was founded in Erlangen in 2001 and had recently come under pressure. According to the insolvency administrator, the reason for this was “unforeseeable and short-term declines in turnover due to the postponement and cancellation of planned customer orders”. Defacto was no longer able to close the
resulting liquidity gap on its own. The subsidiaries Defacto Be/One and Cintellic Consulting Group are not affected by the insolvency of Defacto GmbH.
“We would like to thank everyone involved for the professional and trusting cooperation, the consistently solution-oriented dialog, the structured approach and the reliable and efficient handling of the transaction,” said Prof. Dr. Alexander Sasse,
Managing Partner of Concentro Management AG.
