POELLATH Advises SK Pharma on Sale to Arcus Infrastructure
London/Bielefeld — Arcus Infrastructure Partners (“Arcus”), an investment firm specializing in infrastructure investments, has acquired SK Pharma Logistics GmbH (“SK Pharma”), a provider of logistics solutions for the healthcare industry in Germany, through its Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 4. SK Pharma’s existing management team will retain a stake in the company. The transaction is still subject to the customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. POELLATH provided legal counsel to SK Pharma’s management regarding a management equity stake as part of the transaction.
SK Pharma, based in Bielefeld, is one of the leading specialized logistics providers for the healthcare industry in Germany. With a network of eight warehouse locations in northwestern Germany, the company has approximately 85,000 m² of temperature-controlled warehouse space and more than 100,000 pallet spaces. SK Pharma’s customer base includes pharmaceutical manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, and other companies in the healthcare sector. In addition to its GMP- and GDP-compliant warehousing and distribution infrastructure, the company offers a wide range of complementary services and enables close operational, regulatory, and digital integration with its customers’ processes. The German market for outsourced pharmaceutical logistics is experiencing structural growth, driven by demographic trends, increasing outsourcing, and rising regulatory requirements. With its specialized infrastructure and many years of industry expertise, SK Pharma is exceptionally well-positioned in this market.
Arcus is an independent investment firm focused on mid-sized infrastructure companies with sustainable growth potential, particularly in the digital, transportation and logistics, industrial, and energy sectors.
