Inflexion PE Partners subsidiary Nodor Group acquires Autodarts
Düsseldorf — The Welsh darts equipment manufacturer Nodor Group, in which Inflexion Private Equity Partners holds a majority stake, has acquired Autodarts GmbH. Autodarts is a hardware and software platform for automatic scoring in darts. The aim of the acquisition is to establish darts not only as an analog pub game and in professional sport, but also to enable global online games. Autodarts’ modern scoring technology complements the Nodor Group’s range of premium darts products. — Inflexion was comprehensively advised by ARQIS on this transaction.
The parties involved have agreed not to disclose details of the transaction, such as the purchase price.
The Nodor Group, based in Bridgend, Wales, is a leader in the manufacture of dartboards, darts and accessories. The group of companies, which includes the Winmau and Red Dragon brands, employs around 1,000 people worldwide and exports its products to over 100 countries. At the end of 2024, Inflexion Private Equity Partners acquired a majority stake in Nodor.
Autodarts GmbH, based in Erzhausen, Hesse, manufactures systems for automatic scoring. Cameras are mounted above or around the dartboard to detect where the darts land and automatically calculate the score. This enables seamless online play and a networked, data-driven, global darts community.
An ARQIS team led by Dr. Jörn-Christian Schulze provided comprehensive legal advice to the Nodor Group on this transaction. Inflexion Private Equity Partners is thus once again relying on ARQIS’ advice, as was recently the case with the acquisition of the finanzen.net Group from Axel Springer.
