Fortino Capital closes € 700 million funds and appoints new MP
Munich — Fortino Capital, one of the leading private equity firms focusing on investments in B2B SaaS companies in the Benelux and DACH region, has appointed Philipp Remy as Managing Partner. Fortino is thus expanding its management team and underlining the growing importance of the DACH region within the company’s long-term growth and investment strategy. Since joining Fortino in 2022, Remy has played a central role in its further development in the German-speaking region.
Remy was instrumental in setting up the Munich office and has sustainably strengthened Fortino’s position as a reliable partner for entrepreneurs and management teams in the B2B software and artificial intelligence sector. With in-depth sector expertise, strong implementation skills and a clear focus on value creation, he has made a significant contribution to the success of the portfolio and the continuous growth of Fortino.
Fortino recently closed its third private equity fund with capital commitments of EUR 700 million — a significant portion of the new capital will be used to realize new investment opportunities in German-speaking countries. The latest (pre)seed to Series A investment fund “Fortino Venture III”, for which fundraising is still ongoing, is also expected to be heavily active in DACH.
