
Exit: Shareholders of synvert sell to Hitachi
Munich — The shareholders of synvert Holding GmbH (“synvert”), including Maxburg Beteiligungen III GmbH & Co KG (“Maxburg”), advised by Maxburg Capital Partners GmbH, have sold their shares in synvert to Hitachi, Ltd (“Hitachi”). Synvert will become part of GlobalLogic Inc, the US subsidiary of Hitachi and a global leader in digital engineering. Willkie acted as legal counsel to the shareholders of synvert.
Headquartered in Münster, synvert has offices in Munich, Hamburg, Croatia, Spain, Portugal and Abu Dhabi. The company offers a comprehensive range of cloud, data and AI consulting services. Founded in 1991, the company employs around 550 experts. Synvert is a market leader that is widely recognized and appreciated for its excellent technical expertise, extensive industry knowledge and unique ability to make complex data structures understandable and analyzable.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the financial year ending March 31, 2026, subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
