The course of the IPO

 

The IPO of a company is a funda­men­tal decis­ion. This is prece­ded by precise plan­ning, consul­ta­tion with specia­lists and a long-term prepa­ra­tion phase. This makes the entire company trans­pa­rent and suita­ble for the stock market.

The IPO process can be divi­ded into four phases. With appro­priate prepa­ra­tion and profes­sio­nal part­ners, a company usually needs between six and ten months to go public, provi­ded it has alre­ady set up struc­tu­ral measu­res such as accoun­ting, compli­ance, risk control systems and corpo­rate gover­nance. The most important steps are briefly descri­bed below.
