Triton-Partners Acquires United Initiators from Equistone
Frankfurt / Pullach – Triton Fund 6, managed by Triton Partners, has signed an agreement to acquire United Initiators, a manufacturer specializing in active oxygen solutions, from funds managed by Equistone Partners Europe. The transaction is subject to customary and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. The terms of the transaction will not be disclosed.
United Initiators (“UI”) was founded in 1911, is headquartered in Pullach, Germany, and is a manufacturer of specialty chemicals that serves a diverse customer base of blue-chip companies worldwide. UI’s products are used to initiate polymerization processes and, due to their oxidative potential, in a wide variety of applications. The company employs more than 800 people and operates nine production facilities and two warehouses in the EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions.
The acquisition of United Initiators marks Triton Partners’ third acquisition of an industrial tech company this year and the seventh overall for the Triton Fund 6.
