NOBIX Group acquires IT & DATEV specialist netmin
Munich/ Freudenstadt — The NOBIX Group, a portfolio company of Liberta Partners, has acquired the IT & DATEV specialist netmin from Freudenstadt in the Black Forest. With this acquisition, the NOBIX Group strengthens its presence in southern Germany and expands its existing portfolio in the DATEV area as well as in the support of tax consultants, auditors and lawyers.
Netmin is the NOBIX Group’s second acquisition in 2026 after Albakom, underlining its ambition to establish itself as the leading managed service provider for SMEs in Germany in the long term.
Strengthening the regional presence & expanding the service portfolio
netmin Computer GmbH was founded in 2008 by Alexander Stengle and Roland Schröpfler and currently employs 22 people. The company supports around 400 medium-sized companies in the Karlsruhe to Villingen-Schwenningen area in all matters relating to IT and applications. The main areas of focus include financial accounting, IP telephony with Starface, Microsoft 365, network support and classic IT infrastructure — from servers and clients to cloud systems, which netmin operates in highly available German data centers with data sovereignty.
As a DATEV Solution Partner, netmin has been supporting tax consultants, auditors and law firms with specialized IT services relating to DATEV software since the company was founded. In addition, netmin’s customers include well-known catering and hotel businesses throughout Germany as well as companies from the furnishing and property sector.
Continuity and further development in partnership
The current management team, consisting of the two founders and Managing Director Marcus Umhofer, who joined in 2021, will remain with the company. They will also contribute their expertise to the Management Board of the NOBIX Group, both in the expansion of the joint NOBIX service unit, which is responsible for all delivery issues, and in driving the further development of the Group in the southwest region. At the same time, netmin is expanding its portfolio through the integration into the NOBIX Group to include managed service offerings such as Workplace, Conference and Backup-as-a-Service and Managed Print Services.
Liberta Partners as a long-term development partner
Liberta Partners provided comprehensive support for the transaction — from strategic preparation and financial structuring through to operational and organizational integration. “This acquisition is another milestone in our consistent buy-and-build strategy in the IT services sector,” explains Nils von Wietzlow, Partner at Liberta Partners. “Together with the management of the NOBIX Group, we are making further progress in building a powerful platform and realizing sustainable growth.”
Julius Wölfer, Corporate Development Manager at Liberta Partners, adds: “With netmin, the NOBIX Group is strengthening its presence in southern Germany and further expanding its existing expertise in the DATEV area. The merger is therefore an ideal strategic fit and actively contributes to the Group’s consistent managed service strategy.”
In addition to further organic and inorganic growth, the collaboration will focus in particular on scaling the service portfolio and strengthening management structures.
