Founded in 2017 CREDION AG enables its partners to make direct investments in various alternative asset classes. It works for asset holders such as family offices and foundations as well as for asset managers and the public sector. For family offices, for example, the CREDION team structures discretionary funds for professional and legally compliant lending – also fully collateralized if desired. This gives them the opportunity to allocate to an asset class that has an attractive risk/return profile but is not available to them as a direct investment due to legal restrictions. CREDION supports asset managers and public partners in the successful realization of their strategies in asset classes such as private equity, private debt and real estate. CREDION clients benefit from the national and international credit expertise of the CREDION team and the skills of the BaFin-regulated CREDION fund manager. CREDION defines the framework for the fund based on the strategy of the asset holder and supports actively and integrates competencies and skills of the asset holder and his team into the value chain where required: based on the requirements of the asset holder CREDION is structuring an individual fund in compliance with all regulatory requirements – including deal sourcing, portfolio- and risk management as well as transparent reporting.
