Alterna Capital sells 40 percent of Graphit Kropfmühl to AMG Mining
Frankfurt a. M./ Kropfmühl — The Frankfurt, Munich and Brussels offices of the international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP have advised Alterna Capital Partners (“Alterna”) on the sale of its indirect 40% shareholding in Graphit Kropfmühl GmbH to the co-shareholder AMG Mining GmbH, a subsidiary of AMG Critical Materials N.V..
Graphit Kropfmühl GmbH is active in the mining, extraction, refining, refining, marketing and distribution of natural graphite. The company operates its own mine at its headquarters in Kropfmühl and holds majority interests in graphite mines in Sri Lanka. The transaction was completed on March 12, 2025.
