
Building equipment supplier Caverion Germany acquires Schulz Lufttechnik
Munich/ Sprockhövel — The international law firm Bird & Bird has advised Caverion Deutschland GmbH on the acquisition of Sprockhövel-based Schulz Lufttechnik GmbH.
As an international leader in technical building equipment, Caverion is further expanding its position with this acquisition, particularly in the area of cleanroom technology. There are also numerous other synergies in the areas of installation, maintenance and service.
Schulz Lufttechnik has extensive expertise in the fields of ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, filter and clean room technology. Its customers include universities, hospitals and companies in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The family-run company with an annual turnover of more than 5.5 million euros will be managed as an independent company within Caverion Deutschland GmbH. The previous co-owner Dr. Arndt Schulz will remain operationally involved in the company as Managing Director.
