
HELUKABEL Group acquires DKSH Australia Cables+Lines division
Stuttgart — The HELUKABEL Group is expanding its network of international locations: The specialist for electrical connection technology recently acquired the cables and wires division of its long-standing sales partner, the service and trading group DKSH Australia. A Deloitte legal team led by Stuttgart-based corporate/M&A partner Michael Schneider advised the HELUKABEL Group on the acquisition of the “Cables and Wires” division of DKSH Australia Pty. Ltd. with the support of Australian Deloitte colleagues from the Legal, Tax and Financial Advisory departments.
The HELUKABEL Group, headquartered in Hemmingen near Stuttgart, is an internationally active family business and is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of cables, wires, cable accessories and other electrical connection technology. With its own production sites and logistics centers and over 2,500 employees worldwide, the HELUKABEL Group offers a comprehensive product portfolio for industry, infrastructure, mobility and event & media technology. As a result of the acquisition, the HELUKABEL Group is now present at 76 locations in 43 countries on all continents (with the exception of Antarctica).

HELUKABEL Australia will serve customers in Australia, New Zealand and neighboring markets with a team of around 35 dedicated and experienced employees at its logistics locations in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. Users benefit from an extensive product range with more than 33,000 stock items and an efficient international logistics network that ensures short delivery times. Competent service and customized solutions for individual requirements round off the offering.
With the support of the global Deloitte (Legal) network, the Stuttgart-based Deloitte Legal team has already advised the HELUKABEL Group on various acquisitions in Germany and abroad. For example, the Stuttgart team recently supported the HELUKABEL Group together with French Deloitte (Legal) colleagues in the acquisition of a majority stake in IC Automation SAS.
