Theory and prac­tice – Since 1974, the Center for Conti­nuing and Execu­tive Educa­tion at the Univer­sity of Augs­burg, Germany, has been the central point of inter­sec­tion for rese­arch and busi­ness at the Univer­sity of Augs­burg and, ther­e­fore, part­ner of deve­lo­p­ment and educa­tion for indi­vi­du­als and compa­nies. In addi­tion to conti­nuing educa­tion programs such as certi­fied cour­ses and a wide range of semi­nars – also profes­sio­nal trai­ning, confe­ren­ces, rese­arch-coope­ra­tion as well as further forms of know­ledge trans­fer are part of the offe­red port­fo­lio. At the same time the ZWW sets high quality stan­dards with its inno­va­tive and prac­ti­cal manner – quality that can be proved by obtai­ning a graduate degree. Being one of the best Conti­nuing Educa­tion Insti­tu­ti­ons at univer­si­ties in Germany, the ZWW offers highly quali­fied conti­nuing educa­tion and, conse­quently, educa­tes its parti­ci­pants in an opti­mal way to meet future chal­lenges in their profes­si­ons. The long-stan­ding and sustainable success of the ZWW is due to its profes­sio­nal concept of certi­fi­ca­tion of the semi­nars which combine profes­sio­nal prac­tice and acade­mic competence.
