When tradi\u00adtio\u00adnal loan finan\u00adcing fails in such cases, venture capi\u00adtal often remains the only finan\u00adcing option. This is where we star\u00adted during the last legis\u00adla\u00adtive period. It was parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly important to streng\u00adthen the great poten\u00adtial of busi\u00adness angels. Toge\u00adther with the Euro\u00adpean Invest\u00adment Fund, we have laun\u00adched the Euro\u00adpean Angels Fund, for exam\u00adple. This fund co-finan\u00adces invest\u00adments by selec\u00adted and expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adced busi\u00adness angels and thus supports inno\u00adva\u00adtive compa\u00adnies in their early and growth phases. With the \u201cventure capi\u00adtal invest\u00adment grant\u201d, we have provi\u00added addi\u00adtio\u00adnal incen\u00adti\u00adves to attract private venture capi\u00adtal and open up oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties for young inno\u00adva\u00adtive companies.<\/p>\n

In order to meet the capi\u00adtal requi\u00adre\u00adments of young compa\u00adnies, the frame\u00adwork condi\u00adti\u00adons for private inves\u00adtors must also be right. With the trans\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtion of the AIFM Direc\u00adtive into German law and the entry into force of the new EU regu\u00adla\u00adtion on venture capi\u00adtal funds, we have alre\u00adady achie\u00adved a great deal in this regard during the last legis\u00adla\u00adtive period.
