Indi\u00advi\u00addual text amend\u00adments are still possi\u00adble, but draf\u00adting is alre\u00adady well advanced.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The dead\u00adline for the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of Direc\u00adtive (EU) 2016\/943 alre\u00adady expi\u00adred in June and it is ther\u00ade\u00adfore expec\u00adted that the final version of the plan\u00adned law \u201con the protec\u00adtion of trade secrets\u201d (GeschGehG) will enter into force quickly by the end of 2018. The draft law alre\u00adady provi\u00addes relia\u00adble indi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons of the key points of the new regu\u00adla\u00adtion. The most important novelty: for the first time, the term \u201ctrade secret\u201d is defi\u00adned by law, as are permis\u00adsi\u00adble and imper\u00admis\u00adsi\u00adble forms of appro\u00adpria\u00adtion, use and disclo\u00adsure. For compa\u00adnies, one inno\u00adva\u00adtion in parti\u00adcu\u00adlar will require action. The amend\u00adment provi\u00addes for protec\u00adtion of trade secrets in the future only for those secrets for which appro\u00adpriate secu\u00adrity measu\u00adres can be demons\u00adtra\u00adted.
