The CEE Group<\/strong>, foun\u00added in 2000, is a Hamburg-based asset mana\u00adger specia\u00adli\u00adzing in the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of solar, onshore wind and battery energy storage projects (BESS) as well as the repowe\u00adring and hybri\u00addiza\u00adtion of exis\u00adting plants and imple\u00adments projects with its own opera\u00adtio\u00adnal teams. Over the past 25 years, the Group has alre\u00adady reali\u00adzed 103 projects in Europe with a total nomi\u00adnal capa\u00adcity of 2.2 GW\u2117. The assets under manage\u00adment amount to \u20ac2.7 billion (as of Septem\u00adber 2025). <\/p>\n The asset mana\u00adger is now setting new stan\u00addards for insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal invest\u00adments in rene\u00adwa\u00adble ener\u00adgies in Germany with a special finan\u00adcing struc\u00adture. A consor\u00adtium of renow\u00adned inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal banks is provi\u00adding up to \u20ac1.6 billion for Germany\u2019s largest repowe\u00adring fund \u2014 the CEE RF9<\/strong>. This is the first time that invest\u00adment fund finan\u00adcing on this scale has been conso\u00adli\u00adda\u00adted at port\u00adfo\u00adlio level without the fund inves\u00adtors having to commit addi\u00adtio\u00adnal equity. The cash flows of the opera\u00adting projects are conside\u00adred a full equity substi\u00adtute. The banking syndi\u00adcate includes CIBC, ING, KfW IPEX-Bank, SMBC, SEB and UniCre\u00addit; UniCre\u00addit also acts as Account Bank, Faci\u00adlity & Secu\u00adrity Agent and Hedge Coordinator. <\/p>\n The finan\u00adcing, which runs until 2030, will enable the repla\u00adce\u00adment of exis\u00adting wind turbi\u00adnes and PV modu\u00adles with state-of-the-art tech\u00adno\u00adlogy. At least 29 loca\u00adti\u00adons in Germany and France are set to bene\u00adfit. This will increase the gene\u00adra\u00adtion of green elec\u00adtri\u00adcity at estab\u00adlished loca\u00adti\u00adons, make even better use of exis\u00adting infra\u00adstruc\u00adture and acce\u00adle\u00adrate the instal\u00adla\u00adtion of addi\u00adtio\u00adnal capa\u00adcity.
