As part of the IPO, nearly 12 million shares were placed at a price of USD 52 per share, raising appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately USD 620 million for the company and exis\u00adting share\u00adhol\u00adders. Commerz\u00adVen\u00adtures has been a share\u00adhol\u00adder of the eToro Group since&nbsp;2015.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On the first day of trading, the shares traded around 30% above the issue price, which puts the company at a valua\u00adtion of around USD 5.5 billion. The under\u00adwri\u00adting syndi\u00adcate is led by Gold\u00adman Sachs, Jeffe\u00adries, UBS and Citigroup. The under\u00adwri\u00adters were also gran\u00adted an over-allot\u00adment option for almost 1.8 million shares.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Foun\u00added in 2007 and based in Israel, the company is active in over 140 count\u00adries.
