D\u00fcssel\u00addorf \u2014 Lant\u00adm\u00e4n\u00adnen has signed an agree\u00adment with Volvo Cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion Equip\u00adment (Volvo CE) to divest Swecon, an autho\u00adri\u00adzed distri\u00adbu\u00adtor of Volvo CE in Sweden, Esto\u00adnia, Latvia, Lithua\u00adnia and Germany. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is subject to regu\u00adla\u00adtory appr\u00adovals. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is expec\u00adted to close in the second half of 2025. <\/p>\n
A HEUKING team led by D\u00fcssel\u00addorf part\u00adners Dr. Martin Imhof and Astrid Lued\u00adtke advi\u00adsed Lant\u00adm\u00e4n\u00adnen on the German parts of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, which were imple\u00admen\u00adted by a sepa\u00adrate purchase agreement.<\/p>\n
Lant\u00adm\u00e4n\u00adnen is a Swedish agri\u00adcul\u00adtu\u00adral coope\u00adra\u00adtive and Nort\u00adhern Euro\u00adpe\u2019s leading company within agri\u00adcul\u00adture, machi\u00adnery, bioen\u00adergy and food products. Lant\u00adm\u00e4n\u00adnen coope\u00adra\u00adtes with 17,000 Swedish farmers, employs 12,000 people, opera\u00adtes in over 20 count\u00adries and has an annual turno\u00adver of SEK 70 billion. <\/p>\n
Swecon has been a divi\u00adsion of the Lant\u00adm\u00e4n\u00adnen Group since it was foun\u00added 25 years ago. Swecon\u2019s net sales amoun\u00adted to SEK 10 billion in 2024. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion includes Swecon\u2019s entire busi\u00adness area with around 1,400 employees, i.e. sales of products and services, rental of machi\u00adnes, after\u00admar\u00adket services and custo\u00admer service as well as offices and work\u00adshops. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion also includes the company Entrack. <\/p>\n
Volvo CE sees the invest\u00adment in Swecon as a stra\u00adte\u00adgic step to further expand sales in core markets: Germany as the largest cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion equip\u00adment market in Europe, Sweden as Volvo CE\u2019s home market as well as Esto\u00adnia, Latvia and Lithua\u00adnia. Toge\u00adther with Volvo CE\u2019s current sales orga\u00adniza\u00adtion, this acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion also means that Volvo CE will directly manage the majo\u00adrity of its sales in Europe. Thus, distri\u00adbu\u00adtion will become part of Volvo CE\u2019s core busi\u00adness in Europe. <\/p>\n
