The Hessian state govern\u00adment estab\u00adlished the Hessen\u00adFonds with the aim of support\u00ading start-ups and small and medium-sized enter\u00adpri\u00adses in all phases of their busi\u00adness in the areas of inno\u00adva\u00adtion and trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion. Wirt\u00adschafts- und Infra\u00adstruk\u00adtur\u00adbank Hessen (WIBank) is respon\u00adsi\u00adble for imple\u00admen\u00adting the Hessen\u00adFonds. Of the fund\u2019s total volume of one billion euros, 750 million euros will go to WIBank for loan products<\/strong> and 250 million euros to Hessen\u00adFonds Betei\u00adli\u00adgun\u00adgen GmbH<\/strong>. The fund\u2019s invest\u00adment period extends from 2025 to 2034. <\/p>\n The invest\u00adments start at 200,000 euros and amount to a maxi\u00admum of 10 million euros per company. The funds are inves\u00adted in the form of silent parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adons or direct parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adons. Silent parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adons gene\u00adrally have a term of eight years and in the case of direct parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adti\u00adons, Hessen\u00adFonds acqui\u00adres shares in the company, with the aim of selling the shares after five to seven years. Compa\u00adnies can use the funds, for exam\u00adple, to invest in company restruc\u00adtu\u00adring, the expan\u00adsion and acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of new machi\u00adnery and equip\u00adment, auto\u00adma\u00adtion, digi\u00adta\u00adliza\u00adtion and rese\u00adarch and deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment.
