The volume raised by DBAG ECF IV has more than doubled compared to its prede\u00adces\u00adsor fund, DBAG ECF III (DBAG ECF III: EUR 106 million fund volume). DBAG ECF IV increa\u00adses the assets mana\u00adged or advi\u00adsed by DBAG to 2.7 billion euros. DBAG and members of the DBAG Invest\u00adment Advi\u00adsory Team are invol\u00adved with a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant co-invest\u00adment. As the majo\u00adrity share\u00adhol\u00adder, DBAG ECF IV invests in family-run medium-sized compa\u00adnies with an initial invest\u00adment volume of between 10 and 40 million euros. Through add-on acqui\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons, for exam\u00adple, capi\u00adtal increa\u00adses of up to 60 million euros can be imple\u00admen\u00adted. The fund focu\u00adses on manage\u00adment buy-outs of family-run compa\u00adnies in the context of succes\u00adsion situa\u00adtions and\/or capi\u00adtal increa\u00adses. Carve-outs of one or more busi\u00adness units from larger groups are also possi\u00adble. In addi\u00adtion, DBAG ECF IV gene\u00adrally aims to acquire a majo\u00adrity stake over a period of around five years. The fund\u2019s invest\u00adment period runs until the end of 2028 and it is plan\u00adned to make up to five further invest\u00adments in addi\u00adtion to the five exis\u00adting invest\u00adments. <strong>One of the active inves\u00adtors in the German-spea\u00adking Mittelstand<br>\n<\/strong><br>\n The initial tran\u00adsac\u00adtions of DBAG ECF IV were made between July 2023 and Octo\u00adber 2024 and contri\u00adbute to two dedi\u00adca\u00adted mega\u00adtrends in the German-spea\u00adking region. AOE, ProMik and UNITY AG are driving digi\u00adta\u00adliza\u00adtion and the asso\u00adcia\u00adted increase in produc\u00adti\u00advity. While Avrio and TBD Tech\u00adni\u00adsche Bau Dienst\u00adleis\u00adtun\u00adgen are bene\u00adfiting from the energy tran\u00adsi\u00adtion in Germany. DBAG has expan\u00added its sector focus in recent years to serve these indus\u00adtries, which are charac\u00adte\u00adri\u00adzed by struc\u00adtu\u00adral growth. Since then, the team has concen\u00adtra\u00adted on compa\u00adnies in the areas of IT services and soft\u00adware, health\u00adcare, envi\u00adron\u00adment, energy and infra\u00adstruc\u00adture as well as indus\u00adtrial services and Indus\u00adtry\u00adTech compa\u00adnies, i.e. compa\u00adnies that enable auto\u00adma\u00adtion, robo\u00adtics and digi\u00adta\u00adliza\u00adtion. \u201cDespite the chal\u00adlen\u00adging market situa\u00adtion, we have mana\u00adged to convince exis\u00adting and new inves\u00adtors. DBAG ECF IV bene\u00adfits greatly from being inte\u00adgra\u00adted into the DBAG ecosys\u00adtem. The company\u2019s invest\u00adment advi\u00adsory team draws on a very broad range of expe\u00adri\u00adence with regard to German SMEs and family-run compa\u00adnies in parti\u00adcu\u00adlar.
