It serves to imple\u00adment the Euro\u00adpean Commis\u00adsi\u00adon\u2019s EIC Acce\u00adle\u00adra\u00adtor program, which supports inno\u00adva\u00adtive and sustainable Euro\u00adpean growth compa\u00adnies. The EIC Fund is advi\u00adsed by the Euro\u00adpean Invest\u00adment Bank. The EIC (Euro\u00adpean Inno\u00adva\u00adtion Coun\u00adcil) was foun\u00added in the context of the pilot project \u201cHori\u00adzon 2020 \u2014 the Frame\u00adwork Programme for Rese\u00adarch and Inno\u00adva\u00adtion\u201d and was successfully contin\u00adued in 2021 with the launch of the \u201cHori\u00adzon Europe Programme\u201d.
