{"id":52185,"date":"2024-08-13T14:03:09","date_gmt":"2024-08-13T12:03:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fyb.de\/vr-equitypartner-ktp-merges-with-belgian-conteyor-group\/"},"modified":"2024-08-13T14:03:09","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T12:03:09","slug":"vr-equitypartner-ktp-merges-with-belgian-conteyor-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fyb.de\/en\/vr-equitypartner-ktp-merges-with-belgian-conteyor-group\/","title":{"rendered":"VR Equitypartner: KTP merges with Belgian conTeyor Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Frank\u00adfurt am Main \/ Bous \/ Merel\u00adbeke \u2014 KTP Kunst\u00adstoff Palet\u00adten\u00adtech\u00adnik (port\u00adfo\u00adlio company of Frank\u00adfurt-based invest\u00adment company VR Equi\u00adtyp\u00adart\u00adner) and conTeyor Inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal (majo\u00adrity-owned by Dutch inves\u00adtor Gilde Equity Manage\u00adment) have merged to form a new market leader in the pack\u00ada\u00adging sector.<br>\nThe group combi\u00adnes KTP\u2019s exper\u00adtise as a leading specia\u00adlist for reusable, foldable carrier and contai\u00adner systems made of plas\u00adtic with conTey\u00ador\u2019s know-how in the field of textile inner pack\u00ada\u00adging solutions.<br>\nToge\u00adther, the group with around 1,000 employees will gene\u00adrate global sales of appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately EUR 200 million.<br>\nThe tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, which is still subject to regu\u00adla\u00adtory appr\u00adoval, is expec\u00adted to be comple\u00adted this&nbsp;year.<br>\n <strong>KTP Kunst\u00adstoff Palet\u00adten\u00adtech\u00adnik GmbH<\/strong> was foun\u00added in 1988 and is a pioneer in the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment and manu\u00adfac\u00adture of sustainable and inno\u00adva\u00adtive reusable plas\u00adtic packaging.<br>\nThe foldable contai\u00adners and large load carri\u00aders are made from 80% recy\u00adcled mate\u00adrial and save a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant amount of space when retur\u00adning goods by redu\u00adcing their volume.<br>\nFrom the Saar\u00adland, KTP supplies custo\u00admers world\u00adwide with the vision of making logi\u00adstics gree\u00adner by redu\u00adcing CO2 emissions.<br>\nVR Equi\u00adtyp\u00adart\u00adner acqui\u00adred a mino\u00adrity stake in KTP at the end of 2011 and has since supported the family entre\u00adpre\u00adneur and other manage\u00adment in the company\u2019s strong expansion.<br>\nIn addi\u00adtion to diver\u00adsi\u00adfy\u00ading the custo\u00admer struc\u00adture and ongo\u00ading product inno\u00adva\u00adtion, a new produc\u00adtion site was built in Lisdorf, Saar\u00adland, which enab\u00adled the company to reflect the high growth and deeper value crea\u00adtion in production.<br>\nIn 2022\/23, the Slove\u00adnian inner pack\u00ada\u00adging specia\u00adlist K2 PAK was also acqui\u00adred. <strong>conTeyor<\/strong>, foun\u00added in 1995 near Ghent, is an inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal provi\u00adder in the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment and produc\u00adtion of custo\u00admi\u00adzed textile and steel pack\u00ada\u00adging solu\u00adti\u00adons for scratch- and damage-sensi\u00adtive&nbsp;parts.<br>\nThe company is a leader in inno\u00adva\u00adtive and sustainable pack\u00ada\u00adging for the auto\u00admo\u00adtive industry.<br>\nIts custo\u00admers include auto\u00admo\u00adtive manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adr\u00aders, house\u00adhold appli\u00adance and elec\u00adtro\u00adnics produ\u00adcers in particular.<br>\nTo achieve maxi\u00admum protec\u00adtion with mini\u00admum space requi\u00adre\u00adments, conTeyor uses advan\u00adced 3D design and cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion methods, supported by proprie\u00adtary software.<br>\nconTey\u00ador\u2019s produc\u00adtion sites are loca\u00adted in Europe and North America.<br>\nconTey\u00ador\u2019s declared goal is to signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly reduce CO2 emis\u00adsi\u00adons through inno\u00adva\u00adtive pack\u00ada\u00adging and to become an ESG pioneer in its&nbsp;field.<br>\nGilde, a leading invest\u00adment company from Bene\u00adlux, has held a stake in conTeyor since&nbsp;2018.<br>\nAs part of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, the KTP foun\u00adding family Wintrich is with\u00addra\u00adwing from the share\u00adhol\u00adder group and manage\u00adment, although the previous CEO Andreas Wintrich will conti\u00adnue to support the new group in an advi\u00adsory capacity.<br>\nThe KTP share\u00adhol\u00adders VR Equi\u00adtyp\u00adart\u00adner and Wagner Holding will retain a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant stake in the&nbsp;group.<br>\nThe manage\u00adment team consists of the two conTeyor mana\u00adging direc\u00adtors Orm Verberne (CEO) and Tim van Londer\u00adsele (CFO) as well as KTP mana\u00adging direc\u00adtor Martin Hent\u00adschel (COO).<br>\nThe current KTP site in Bous (Saar\u00adland) will serve as the group\u2019s head\u00adquar\u00adters.
