\nThe new majo\u00adrity owner is the Garda Group, which also specia\u00adli\u00adzes in peri\u00adme\u00adter protection.
\nHeras was foun\u00added in 1952 with its head\u00adquar\u00adters in Oirschot, the Nether\u00adlands, and is now repre\u00adsen\u00adted throug\u00adhout Europe with loca\u00adti\u00adons in a total of eight countries.
\nWith its compre\u00adhen\u00adsive port\u00adfo\u00adlio of peri\u00adme\u00adter protec\u00adtion solu\u00adti\u00adons \u2014 from plan\u00adning and produc\u00adtion to instal\u00adla\u00adtion, main\u00adten\u00adance and repair \u2014 the company serves an inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal custo\u00admer base in more than 20 markets and curr\u00adently employs around 1,000 people.
\nWith the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion now agreed, Heras will become part of the Garda Group, which is curr\u00adently active in Scan\u00addi\u00adna\u00advia and Germany.
\nThe Group\u2019s brands include a.o. Garda Sikring, Heda Secu\u00adrity, KIBO Secu\u00adrity, Great Secu\u00adrity, Frei\u00adhoff Group, Gleich Group, Schmid Alarm and vi2vi.
\nSince the Equis\u00adtone funds acqui\u00adred a majo\u00adrity stake in 2019, Heras\u2019 stra\u00adte\u00adgic focus has been

\non deve\u00adlo\u00adping the busi\u00adness in the high-secu\u00adrity sector and the range of services for custo\u00admers from the public and private sectors, parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly in the area of criti\u00adcal infrastructure.
\nThis deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment was addi\u00adtio\u00adnally supported by two stra\u00adte\u00adgic acqui\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons in Denmark and Germany.
\nThe part\u00adner\u00adship with the Equis\u00adtone funds also focu\u00adsed on estab\u00adli\u00adshing a Group-wide ESG stra\u00adtegy, as well as signi\u00adfi\u00adcant invest\u00adments in the produc\u00adtion sites for perma\u00adnent and mobile product solu\u00adti\u00adons in the Dutch dome\u00adstic market and in Belgium and France.
