Munich, May 6, 2024 \u2014 Perusa Part\u00adners Fund II L.P. has sold its shares in the PROLED Group to the Galaed Group. The commer\u00adcial law firm G\u00fctt Olk Feld\u00adhaus advi\u00adsed Perusa on this transaction.<\/p>\n

The PROLED Group is a Euro\u00adpean deve\u00adlo\u00adper, manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer and distri\u00adbu\u00adtor of LED light\u00ading with the brands PROLED, UNI-BRIGHT and mawa. With its own produc\u00adtion faci\u00adli\u00adties in Germany, PROLED is a refe\u00adrence manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer for high-quality products with high design standards.<\/p>\n

PROLED deve\u00adlops, confi\u00adgu\u00adres and distri\u00adbu\u00adtes LED light\u00ading tech\u00adno\u00adlogy for the B2B sector. The company sells its products to a broad network of archi\u00adtects, elec\u00adtri\u00adci\u00adans and whole\u00adsa\u00adlers, enab\u00adling it to achieve stable cash flows with low project risks.<\/p>\n

Perusa acqui\u00adred a majo\u00adrity stake in MBN PROLED (Germany) as a plat\u00adform in 2017 and streng\u00adthe\u00adned this in 2018 with the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of UNI-BRIGHT (Belgium) and in 2021 with the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of mawa (Germany). In 2020, the tran\u00adsi\u00adtion from the foun\u00adders to a new exter\u00adnal manage\u00adment team was successful and an inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal sales team was established.<\/p>\n

Since the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion by Perusa in 2017, PROLE\u00adD\u2019s sales and EBITDA have more than doubled as a result of acqui\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons and orga\u00adnic growth. PROLED is aiming to make further acqui\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons in the frag\u00admen\u00adted Euro\u00adpean LED market with a focus on the high-margin B2B segment.<\/p>\n
