This repres\u00adents an increase of almost 40 percent over EQT IX, thanks to strong support from exis\u00adting and new inves\u00adtors, with a grea\u00adter propor\u00adtion of commit\u00adments coming from private assets.<\/p>\n
EQT X builds on EQT Private Equi\u00adty\u2019s 30-year track record of inves\u00adt\u00ading prima\u00adrily in the health\u00adcare, tech\u00adno\u00adlogy and tech\u00adno\u00adlogy-enab\u00adled services sectors in Europe and North America.
\nEQT is plea\u00adsed to announce that EQT X (the \u201cFund\u201d) has comple\u00adted its final close and has raised a total of EUR 22 billion (USD 24 billion) in commit\u00adments, of which EUR 21.7 billion (USD 23.5 billion) are fee-gene\u00adra\u00adting assets under manage\u00adment. The fund\u00adrai\u00adsing excee\u00added the target of EUR 20 billion (USD 21.6 billion) and repres\u00adents an increase of almost 40% compared to EQT IX, which closed in April 2021 at EUR 15.6 billion. It is also one of the largest private equity funds ever launched.<\/p>\n
The fund recei\u00adved commit\u00adments from a wide range of inves\u00adtors, inclu\u00adding pension and sove\u00adreign wealth funds, asset mana\u00adgers and the private wealth segment. The latter accoun\u00adted for a larger share of total commit\u00adments, reflec\u00adting EQT\u2019s recent stra\u00adte\u00adgic efforts to offer this segment better access to EQT funds with the launch of EQT Nexus. The fund inves\u00adtors were based in North and South America, the Asia-Paci\u00adfic region, the Middle East, Europe and the Nordic countries.<\/p>\n
EQT X is the latest fund in EQT\u2019s private equity strategy<\/p>\n
The stra\u00adtegy has been inves\u00adt\u00ading in the health\u00adcare, tech\u00adno\u00adlogy, tech\u00adno\u00adlogy-enab\u00adled services and indus\u00adtrial tech\u00adno\u00adlogy sectors in Europe and North America for thirty years and has achie\u00adved a gross multi\u00adple on inves\u00adted capi\u00adtal of 2.7x during this time. The fund has announ\u00adced seven invest\u00adments since June 2022, start\u00ading with the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of Envi\u00adro\u00adtai\u00adner, the worl\u00add\u2019s leading provi\u00adder of mission-criti\u00adcal trans\u00adpor\u00adta\u00adtion services to the biopharma indus\u00adtry. Other invest\u00adments include advan\u00adced medi\u00adcal compon\u00adents provi\u00adder Zeus, leading accounts receiva\u00adble auto\u00adma\u00adtion company Bill\u00adtrust and vete\u00adri\u00adnary phar\u00admaceu\u00adti\u00adcals company Dechra Pharmaceuticals.<\/p>\n
