A multi\u00addi\u00adsci\u00adpli\u00adnary and multi-site Deloitte team led by Corporate\/M&A Part\u00adner Andreas Jent\u00adgens and Coun\u00adsel Marc Oliver Stock advi\u00adsed Mitsu\u00adbi\u00adshi HiTec Paper Europe GmbH (MPE) on the sale of MPE Flens\u00adburg GmbH (MPEF). The parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose details of the transaction.<\/p>\n
MPE is a wholly owned subsi\u00addiary of Mitsu\u00adbi\u00adshi Paper Mills (MPM), a company that not only manu\u00adfac\u00adtures and deve\u00adlops prin\u00adting paper, prin\u00adting plate mate\u00adri\u00adals and prin\u00adting systems for offset and other prin\u00adting proces\u00adses, but also supplies media for almost all recor\u00adding formats, such as pres\u00adsure-sensi\u00adtive, ther\u00admal, magne\u00adtic, elec\u00adtro\u00adgra\u00adphic, silver halide photo paper and inkjet paper. In addi\u00adtion, MPM is expan\u00adding its opera\u00adting busi\u00adness to include func\u00adtional mate\u00adri\u00adals such as highly func\u00adtional filters and is incre\u00adasingly focu\u00adsing on rese\u00adarch and deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment in new busi\u00adness areas.
\nMPEF is active in the produc\u00adtion of specialty papers with a focus on ther\u00admal and barrier papers and opera\u00adtes one paper machine and two coating lines with a total capa\u00adcity of 35,000 tons per year. The Flens\u00adburg mill has more than 300 years of company history and is known for its tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcal know-how, product speci\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons and quality paper used for various appli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons such as event tickets, lottery tickets, trans\u00adpor\u00adta\u00adtion, food stamps, cash regis\u00adter receipts, pack\u00ada\u00adging and more.<\/p>\n
