The EIC Fund is the special fund of the Euro\u00adpean Inno\u00adva\u00adtion Coun\u00adcil and thus the central invest\u00adment vehicle of the Euro\u00adpean Commis\u00adsion. It serves to imple\u00adment the Euro\u00adpean Commis\u00adsi\u00adon\u2019s EIC Acce\u00adle\u00adra\u00adtor program, which supports inno\u00adva\u00adtive and sustainable Euro\u00adpean growth compa\u00adnies. With a dura\u00adtion from 2021 to 2027 and a total budget of up to \u20ac95.5 billion, it is one of the largest funding programs for rese\u00adarch and inno\u00adva\u00adtion world\u00adwide. In 2022, the EIC Fund was the largest Euro\u00adpean deept\u00adech VC fund with 71 invest\u00adments. STABL Energy GmbH deve\u00adlops energy storage systems from discarded vehicle batte\u00adries. The aim is to increase the use of rene\u00adwa\u00adble ener\u00adgies with the help of energy storage systems and at the same time to extend the life cycle of car batte\u00adries. The finan\u00adcing round has a total volume of up to EUR 15 million.<\/p>\n
