Bonn \u2014 The Inves\u00adtor Advi\u00adsory Board has appoin\u00adted Romy Schnelle (44) to the manage\u00adment board of High-Tech Gr\u00fcn\u00adder\u00adfonds (HTGF). Toge\u00adther with Dr. Alex von Fran\u00adken\u00adberg and Guido Schlit\u00adzer, she thus takes over the manage\u00adment of one of the leading fund compa\u00adnies for seed invest\u00adments in Europe. HTGF laun\u00adched its fourth fund as recently as Febru\u00adary and now mana\u00adges total capi\u00adtal of around EUR 1.4 billion. With the appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 500 million euros from Fund IV, the HTGF team can now invest even more capi\u00adtal per start-up.<\/p>\n
Romy Schnelle has been part of the startup ecosys\u00adtem for 20 years and brings a great enthu\u00adsi\u00adasm for inno\u00adva\u00adtion. She has been working for HTGF since 2008, most recently as a part\u00adner in the Digi\u00adtal Tech divi\u00adsion. Toge\u00adther with her team, she is curr\u00adently respon\u00adsi\u00adble for around 30 invest\u00adments with a focus on climate tech, digi\u00adtal health, fintech, AI and SaaS. It has alre\u00adady successfully sold ten compa\u00adnies from its own port\u00adfo\u00adlio, inclu\u00adding Stocard to Klarna and Kiwi\u00adgrid to Innogy, LG Elec\u00adtro\u00adnics and Aqton. With her exten\u00adsive start-up expe\u00adri\u00adence as well as rele\u00advant exper\u00adtise in busi\u00adness deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment, fund\u00adrai\u00adsing and corpo\u00adrate finance, Schnelle has contri\u00adbu\u00adted signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly to the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of HTGF\u2019s Indus\u00adtrial and Digi\u00adtal Tech port\u00adfo\u00adlio.
