Berlin \u2014 A YPOG team provi\u00added compre\u00adhen\u00adsive tax, legal and regu\u00adla\u00adtory advice to HV Capi\u00adtal, a leading early-stage and growth inves\u00adtor in Europe, on the struc\u00adtu\u00adring of Fund IX with a volume of more than \u20ac700 million- making it the largest fund ever laun\u00adched by HV Capi\u00adtal in its 23-year history. Fund IX further expands HV Capi\u00adtal\u2019s ability to invest in inno\u00adva\u00adtive tech compa\u00adnies across all stages of growth. \u2014 This means that HV Capi\u00adtal also outper\u00adforms the semi-public High\u00adtech Gr\u00fcn\u00adder\u00adfonds (HTGF), which in Febru\u00adary raised just under half a billion euros, its largest fund since it was foun\u00added 18 years ago.<\/p>\n

The new gene\u00adra\u00adtion of funds is divi\u00added into two vehic\u00adles, \u201cFund IX Venture\u201d and \u201cFund IX Growth,\u201d and will target compa\u00adnies from seed stage to Series\u2011D and beyond, with initial ticket sizes ranging from \u20ac500,000 to \u20ac60 million. HV Capi\u00adtal\u2019s team will focus on the next gene\u00adra\u00adtion of high-growth compa\u00adnies in various markets and across Europe.<\/p>\n

Fund IX has been backed by insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal inves\u00adtors from Europe and the United States, enab\u00adling HV Capi\u00adtal to conti\u00adnue its 23-year invest\u00adment history. HV Capi\u00adtal streng\u00adthens its commit\u00adment to more diver\u00adsity and sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity within the venture capi\u00adtal indus\u00adtry with Fund IX. HV has commit\u00adted to this with Fund IX in accordance with Article 8 of the EU Sustainable Finan\u00adcing Disclo\u00adsure Regu\u00adla\u00adtion (SFDR). Speci\u00adfi\u00adcally, the goal is for 33% of manage\u00adment posi\u00adti\u00adons in the port\u00adfo\u00adlio to be held by women by the end of the fund\u2019s term. In addi\u00adtion, 30% of the capi\u00adtal raised is reser\u00adved for compa\u00adnies that follow the sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity and envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal crite\u00adria of the Euro\u00adpean Invest\u00adment Fund (EIF).<\/p>\n
