\nThe invest\u00adment focus of the NRW.Venture funds is on indus\u00adtries such as infor\u00adma\u00adtion and commu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion tech\u00adno\u00adlogy, IT secu\u00adrity, digi\u00adtal economy, Inter\u00adnet of Things, life scien\u00adces, digi\u00adtal health, inno\u00adva\u00adtive cross-sectional tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies, new mate\u00adri\u00adals, clean\u00adtech as well as sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies and agri\u00adcul\u00adtu\u00adral tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies. \nThe previous fund gene\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons of NRW.Venture have inves\u00adted in 68 start-ups, a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant number of which have alre\u00adady led to successful exits. Among them most recently, for exam\u00adple, the Bochum-based company phenox, which deve\u00adlops, produ\u00adces and sells medi\u00adcal tech\u00adno\u00adlogy products for the treat\u00adment of strokes and vascu\u00adlar dise\u00ada\u00adses. NRW.Venture sold its shares in the company in April 2022 to Wallaby, a stra\u00adte\u00adgic inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal part\u00adner of phenox.<\/p>\n
