KTP was supported in this by the Frank\u00adfurt-based invest\u00adment company VR Equi\u00adtyp\u00adart\u00adner, which holds a mino\u00adrity stake in the Saar\u00adland-based company. KTP is one of the Euro\u00adpean market leaders in the produc\u00adtion and deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of foldable large contai\u00adners and large load carri\u00aders as well as pallets and carrier systems made of plas\u00adtic. With the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of K2 PAK, KTP is streng\u00adthening its busi\u00adness area around the inner pack\u00ada\u00adging of trans\u00adport boxes, lever\u00adaging valuable syner\u00adgies between the two compa\u00adnies and conti\u00adnuing its long-term growth strategy.<\/p>\n
KTP had alre\u00adady acqui\u00adred a majo\u00adrity stake in K2 PAK at the begin\u00adning of 2022; the stake was now signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly increased again at the turn of the year. The remai\u00adning shares remain with the mana\u00adging part\u00adner Marco Krmac. For more than two deca\u00addes, the family-owned company K2 PAK has been deve\u00adlo\u00adping and supp\u00adly\u00ading advan\u00adced indus\u00adtrial reusable pack\u00ada\u00adging solu\u00adti\u00adons made of a wide variety of mate\u00adri\u00adals as an inner packer, provi\u00adding opti\u00admum protec\u00adtion for custo\u00admers\u2019 compon\u00adents during trans\u00adport. There are alre\u00adady long-stan\u00adding busi\u00adness rela\u00adti\u00adonships with KTP \u2014 the inte\u00adgra\u00adtion will enable further syner\u00adgies to be lever\u00ada\u00adged and deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment and inno\u00adva\u00adtion oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties to be driven forward.<\/p>\n

In addi\u00adtion, resour\u00adces are conser\u00adved \u2014 both through the use of recy\u00adcled raw mate\u00adri\u00adals and the possi\u00adbi\u00adlity of retur\u00adning them to the raw mate\u00adrial cycle, and thanks to the lower trans\u00adport weight. VR Equi\u00adtyp\u00adart\u00adner (VREP) had acqui\u00adred a mino\u00adrity stake in KTP at the end of 2011 to support manage\u00adment in exploi\u00adting the company\u2019s further growth poten\u00adtial and driving inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adna\u00adliza\u00adtion. From its head\u00adquar\u00adters in Bous and its Chinese sales loca\u00adtion in Taicang, KTP now exports its products to over 100 countries.<\/p>\n
