The invest\u00adment is being made through a joint venture between aero\u00adspace company OHB SE and invest\u00adment company AFK Enter\u00adprise AG, and will drive the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of new green avia\u00adtion tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies inclu\u00adding D328eco\u2122, an envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally friendly version of the proven Do328\u00ae short-range passen\u00adger aircraft manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adred by Deut\u00adsche Aircraft GmbH. Under the agree\u00adment, the inves\u00adtors have the option of acqui\u00adring further shares up to a majo\u00adrity stake at a later date.<\/p>\n
Deut\u00adsche Aircraf\u00adt\u2019s D328 series is based on the proud heri\u00adtage of Dornier, and Deut\u00adsche Aircraft holds the type certi\u00adfi\u00adcate for the Do328\u00ae. With new propul\u00adsion systems, latest gene\u00adra\u00adtion avia\u00adtion tech\u00adno\u00adlogy and more seats, the D328eco will set new stan\u00addards for envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtally friendly short-haul flying. Deut\u00adsche Aircraft is also inves\u00adti\u00adga\u00adting various alter\u00adna\u00adtive fuels and future climate-neutral propul\u00adsion systems as part of its product road\u00admap. The Do328 is the last commer\u00adcial aircraft to date to have been deve\u00adlo\u00adped and built enti\u00adrely in-house by a German company \u2014 and this will also be the case with the D328eco.<\/p>\n
The invest\u00adment in DAH is subject to the appr\u00adoval of the German govern\u00adment, which is support\u00ading the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of the D328eco with a large-volume deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment cost loan and is also support\u00ading the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of clean avia\u00adtion initia\u00adti\u00adves at Deut\u00adsche Aircraft. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is expec\u00adted to close in the first quar\u00adter of 2023, once regu\u00adla\u00adtory appr\u00adovals and other custo\u00admary closing condi\u00adti\u00adons are satisfied.<\/p>\n
