Mela\u00adnie Wiese (photo) will join the DBAG Manage\u00adment Board as the new Chief Finan\u00adcial Offi\u00adcer on Janu\u00adary 1, 2023, taking over respon\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adlity for Finance from Tors\u00adten&nbsp;Grede.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy decis\u00adion to ask the Super\u00advi\u00adsory Board to prema\u00adtu\u00adrely termi\u00adnate my service on the Manage\u00adment Board after 32 years of service to DBAG marks the comple\u00adtion of the long-plan\u00adned gene\u00adra\u00adtio\u00adnal change on the Manage\u00adment Board,\u201d Grede said today. And: \u201cI am parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly plea\u00adsed that it will be my long-time colle\u00adagues who, toge\u00adther with Mela\u00adnie Wiese, will steer DBAG\u2019s fortu\u00adnes in the future, and that the Super\u00advi\u00adsory Board will entrust my colle\u00adague Tom Alzin with the office of Spokes\u00adman of the Manage\u00adment&nbsp;Board.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Manage\u00adment Board of DBAG curr\u00adently has three members. In addi\u00adtion to Mr. Grede and Mr. Alzin, this is Jannick Hune\u00adcke. Tors\u00adten Grede has been a member of the Execu\u00adtive Board since 2001 and has been Spokes\u00adman of the Execu\u00adtive Board since&nbsp;2013.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Super\u00advi\u00adsory Board would like to express its sincere thanks to Tors\u00adten Grede for the many years of successful coope\u00adra\u00adtion,\u201d said Dr. Hendrik Otto, Chair\u00adman of DBAG\u2019s Super\u00advi\u00adsory Board today. And: \u201cHe has played a key role in shaping DBAG\u2019s stra\u00adte\u00adgic deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment and growth and has played a major role in estab\u00adli\u00adshing DBAG as one of the leading German private equity firms with assets under manage\u00adment or advi\u00adsory of 2.5 billion euros.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tom Alzin<\/strong> will become the new Spokes\u00adman of the Manage\u00adment Board of DBAG as of March 1, 2023. He joined DBAG in 2004 and has been a member of the Manage\u00adment Board since 2021. \u201cI am very plea\u00adsed about the confi\u00addence of the Super\u00advi\u00adsory Board. I will do ever\u00ady\u00adthing in my power to further advance the dyna\u00admic deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of the company,\u201d said Tom&nbsp;Alzin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mela\u00adnie Wiese<\/strong> worked for the energy compa\u00adnies E.ON SE, Innogy SE, Essen, and Bayern\u00adwerk AG, Regens\u00adburg, between 2017 and 2022 \u2014 most recently as a member of the boards of Innogy SE and Bayern\u00adwerk AG, respon\u00adsi\u00adble for finance (CFO, Bayern\u00adwerk AG). Previously, as Head of Accoun\u00adting &amp; Report\u00ading at Innogy SE and Head of Group Accoun\u00adting at E.ON SE, she was invol\u00adved in a wide range of topics, inclu\u00adding group accoun\u00adting, M&amp;A tran\u00adsac\u00adtions, taxes, control\u00adling and finan\u00adcing.
