The carsha\u00adring provi\u00adder WeShare is present in Berlin and Hamburg with around 2,000 all-elec\u00adtric vehic\u00adles, which are now being migra\u00adted to the MILES ecosys\u00adtem, the exis\u00adting carpool and the user&nbsp;app.<\/p>\n<p>WeShare is backed by VW subsi\u00addiary UMI Urban Mobi\u00adlity Inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal, which is being acqui\u00adred by Miles Mobi\u00adlity. The WeShare fleet, which consists of 100 percent elec\u00adtric vehic\u00adles, will be inte\u00adgra\u00adted into Miles Mobi\u00adli\u00adty\u2019s car&nbsp;pool.<\/p>\n<p>VW and Miles Mobi\u00adlity have also agreed on a stra\u00adte\u00adgic part\u00adner\u00adship. Part of the coope\u00adra\u00adtion is the purchase of more than 10,000 elec\u00adtric vehic\u00adles from the Audi, Seat\/Cupra and VW brands, which will be deli\u00advered to Miles Mobi\u00adlity start\u00ading next year. With regard to the finan\u00adcial details of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, the parties have agreed to main\u00adtain confidentiality.<\/p>\n<p>With this acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion, the company is expan\u00adding its vehicle fleet and custo\u00admer base in an econo\u00admical and sustainable way. MILES custo\u00admers will bene\u00adfit from a larger e\u2011fleet, and exis\u00adting WeShare custo\u00admers will gain access to a signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly larger and more diverse vehicle port\u00adfo\u00adlio, six addi\u00adtio\u00adnal German and two Belgian cities, and new services such as city-to-city and cross-coun\u00adtry rides. In total, more than 11,000 vehic\u00adles will be available in Germany and Belgium.
