The global invest\u00adment stra\u00adtegy of the new \u20ac300 million fund is to build a broadly diver\u00adsi\u00adfied port\u00adfo\u00adlio by the end of 2024, consis\u00adting of appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 10 target funds and up to 20 percent co-invest\u00adments. The focus is on Euro\u00adpean (60 percent) and North Ameri\u00adcan (40 percent) invest\u00adments in solar and wind energy, energy storage tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies, and other tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies that enable the energy tran\u00adsi\u00adtion and decar\u00adbo\u00adniza\u00adtion. The invest\u00adments will be split equally between brown\u00adfield and green\u00adfield projects. Golding plans a target return of 6.0 to 7.0 percent net IRR p.a. and a first closing alre\u00adady for the end of 2022. Golding has many years of expe\u00adri\u00adence with infra\u00adstruc\u00adture assets that contri\u00adbute to energy supply realignment.
