The fund was laun\u00adched in March 2022 and has raised capi\u00adtal from new and exis\u00adting inves\u00adtors, inclu\u00adding Deut\u00adsche Tele\u00adkom and Soft\u00adBank Group Inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal, as well as other insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal inves\u00adtors, pension funds, corpo\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons and family offices. DTCP plans to conti\u00adnue to raise substan\u00adtial capi\u00adtal for the fund and aims to complete fund\u00adrai\u00adsing in 2023. A YPOG team led by Jens Kretz\u00adschmann advi\u00adsed DTCP on the first closing.<\/p>\n<p>In line with DTCP\u2019s successful data-driven invest\u00adment stra\u00adtegy, the Growth Equity III Fund invests in cloud-based enter\u00adprise soft\u00adware and soft\u00adware-as-a-service (SaaS) compa\u00adnies in cyber\u00adse\u00adcu\u00adrity, Web3, AI, fintech, verti\u00adcal SaaS solu\u00adti\u00adons, and IT appli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons and cloud infra\u00adstruc\u00adture soft\u00adware. The Fund is seeking appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 25 equity invest\u00adments of $20 million to $25 million for early growth or expan\u00adsion stage compa\u00adnies, typi\u00adcally as part of a Series B through D or late stage finan\u00adcing round.
