Frank\u00adfurt am Main\/ Ammer\u00adbuch \u2014 Deut\u00adsche Betei\u00adli\u00adgungs AG (DBAG) invests in the vhf Group (vhf), a manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer of compu\u00adter-aided milling machi\u00adnes for appli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons in denti\u00adstry and indus\u00adtry. DBAG acqui\u00adres around one fifth of the shares in vhf camfac\u00adture AG, which will act as the Group\u2019s holding company in the future. The parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose the purchase price of the mino\u00adrity inte\u00adrest. The execu\u00adtion of the parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion takes place at short notice and is not subject to any reser\u00adva\u00adtions. The aim of the invest\u00adment is to support the further inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal growth of the company and to bring about capi\u00adtal market readiness.<\/p>\n
With its invest\u00adment in vhf, DBAG is ente\u00adring into a long-term commit\u00adment: DBAG finan\u00adces long-term invest\u00adments exclu\u00adsi\u00advely from its balance sheet, thus not inves\u00adt\u00ading along\u00adside a DBAG fund. The invest\u00adment hori\u00adzon of a long-term invest\u00adment goes beyond the usual term of a private equity fund. The new invest\u00adment is the fourth long-term invest\u00adment in the portfolio.<\/p>\n

The company was foun\u00added in 1988; the company foun\u00adders have been the sole share\u00adhol\u00adders to date. Mean\u00adwhile, vhf employs about 350 employees, most of them at the head\u00adquar\u00adters in Ammer\u00adbuch as well as at the second German produc\u00adtion site in F\u00fcrth (Bava\u00adria). There are sales offices in New York and Shang\u00adhai. Last year, the group achie\u00adved sales of a good 46 million euros.
