Bonn \u2014 High-Tech Gr\u00fcn\u00adder\u00adfonds (HTGF) laun\u00adches its fourth fund and alre\u00adady reaches a commit\u00adted volume of more than EUR 400 million with the first closing. More than EUR 130 million of this amount comes from private inves\u00adtors who parti\u00adci\u00adpate in HTGF\u2019s fourth fund along\u00adside the Fede\u00adral Minis\u00adtry of Econo\u00admics and Climate Protec\u00adtion (BMWK) and KfW Capi\u00adtal. The result clearly exceeds expectations.<\/p>\n
As a public-private part\u00adner\u00adship, HTGF is thus taking the successful coope\u00adra\u00adtion between public and private fund inves\u00adtors into the next gene\u00adra\u00adtion: The second closing will take place this year and thus much faster than with the prede\u00adces\u00adsor fund. 40 compa\u00adnies from a wide range of indus\u00adtries are parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adting in HTGF IV; medium-sized compa\u00adnies are parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly well repre\u00adsen\u00adted, along with nume\u00adrous large compa\u00adnies and family offices.<\/p>\n
The new fund is an early-stage fund for inno\u00adva\u00adtive, tech\u00adno\u00adlogy-orien\u00adted compa\u00adnies that are no more than three years old. With its early-stage finan\u00adcing, it supports young compa\u00adnies in the digi\u00adtal tech, indus\u00adtrial tech, life scien\u00adces and chemi\u00adcals sectors. In the process, the analy\u00adsis and selec\u00adtion methods will be geared even more closely to the aspect of sustaina\u00adbi\u00adlity. The prere\u00adqui\u00adsi\u00adtes for funding are promi\u00adsing rese\u00adarch results, an inno\u00adva\u00adtive tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcal basis and a promi\u00adsing market situa\u00adtion. In addi\u00adtion to provi\u00adding support on finan\u00adcing issues, HTGF also assists young compa\u00adnies with its network as well as its tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcal and busi\u00adness know-how.<\/p>\n
