In this way, S\u2011UBG enables the succes\u00adsion of the company by the exter\u00adnal mana\u00adger <strong>Mathias Schlatt<\/strong>, who acqui\u00adres the remai\u00adning shares. Schlatt takes over the manage\u00adment of both compa\u00adnies from Knut-Ulrich R\u00f6tt\u00adger, who acqui\u00adred the compa\u00adnies in 1999 and has been mana\u00adging part\u00adner ever&nbsp;since.<\/p>\n<p>The now 45-year-old mana\u00adger star\u00adted his career in his parents\u2019 company Schlatt Glas\u00adhan\u00addels\u00adge\u00adsell\u00adschaft mbH in Bocholt: \u201cMathias Schlatt has been working in the glass indus\u00adtry for over 20 years and brings with him expe\u00adri\u00adence, good cont\u00adacts and exten\u00adsive exper\u00adtise,\u201d says Bern\u00adhard Kugel, CEO of the S\u2011UBG Group. Knut-Ulrich R\u00f6tt\u00adger is also plea\u00adsed to be able to hand over his life\u2019s work into good hands with the support of S\u2011UBG: \u201cThe fair nego\u00adtia\u00adti\u00adons and the profes\u00adsio\u00adnal advice have thus ulti\u00adm\u00adately led to two estab\u00adlished compa\u00adnies being retai\u00adned in Kempen and jobs being secured.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Estab\u00adlished full-range supplier<\/strong><br>\nThe compa\u00adnies Ther\u00admo\u00adglas and Trie\u00adnes were foun\u00added in Kempen on the Lower Rhine in 1976 and 1954 respec\u00adtively. Today, with just under 100 employees, both operate on the market as full-range suppli\u00aders in the produc\u00adtion and proces\u00adsing or finis\u00adhing of glass. Special exper\u00adtise exists in the produc\u00adtion of insu\u00adla\u00adting glass, for exam\u00adple as sound insu\u00adla\u00adtion, solar control or safety glass. In addi\u00adtion, Trie\u00adnes produ\u00adces and sells high-quality glass products with special proper\u00adties for indus\u00adtry and buil\u00adding cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion. The main product is toug\u00adhe\u00adned safety glass (ESG), which is prepared on the company\u2019s own machi\u00adnes and then tempe\u00adred in the ESG furnace. This gives the glass its safety-rele\u00advant proper\u00adties and stabi\u00adlity. For exam\u00adple, the ESG product SECURIT\u00ae has four to five times the breakage resis\u00adtance of conven\u00adtio\u00adnal&nbsp;glass.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether it\u2019s coated glass, self-clea\u00adning glass or safety glass, glass is now a high-tech mate\u00adrial and the demands on produ\u00adcers are conti\u00adnu\u00adally incre\u00adasing,\u201d explains Schlatt. \u201cEnergy-effi\u00adci\u00adent cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion or safety stan\u00addards in the cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion sector are just a few drivers. Here in the Lower Rhine region, invest\u00adments have always been made so that we can meet custo\u00admer needs and legal stan\u00addards at all&nbsp;times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Well posi\u00adtio\u00adned in the growing market<\/strong><br>\n\u201cWe are inves\u00adt\u00ading in two solid compa\u00adnies with long-term stable earnings,\u201d Kugel said. \u201cThe law incre\u00adasingly prescri\u00adbes the use of safety glass, and the ongo\u00ading cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion boom and demand in future indus\u00adtries have also brought glass produ\u00adcers constant deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment for years.\u201d The new owners also see pros\u00adpects in inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adna\u00adliza\u00adtion. Schlatt: \u201cThere is still a lot of poten\u00adtial in expan\u00adding our natio\u00adnal and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal sales networks.
