The buyer is the Dutch invest\u00adment company <strong>Parcom Private Equity<\/strong>. Equis\u00adtone had acqui\u00adred Group of Butchers in early 2017 and has since supported the company\u2019s growth stra\u00adtegy through a series of stra\u00adte\u00adgic acqui\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons, among others. The parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose the purchase price or further details of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion. The sale is subject to appr\u00adoval by the rele\u00advant anti\u00adtrust authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Group of Butchers was foun\u00added in Tilburg in 1997 and has become the market leader in the Nether\u00adlands for high-quality, artis\u00ada\u00adnal butchery products with a focus on sausage and minced meat special\u00adties. Group of Butchers excels in high quality stan\u00addards, smart product marke\u00adting, conti\u00adnuous inno\u00adva\u00adtion in purcha\u00adsing and produc\u00adtion, and in iden\u00adti\u00adfy\u00ading new trends such as Ameri\u00adcan BBQ, gour\u00admet burger restau\u00adrants and street food. The wide range of high-quality meat and sausage products is sold prima\u00adrily by leading retail chains in the Nether\u00adlands, Belgium and Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Equis\u00adtone took a majo\u00adrity stake in Group of Butchers in early 2017 and has since supported the specialty meat produ\u00adcer\u2019s orga\u00adnic and stra\u00adte\u00adgic growth through seve\u00adral targe\u00adted acqui\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons and market expan\u00adsi\u00adons. In 2018, Group of Butchers acqui\u00adred Dutch smoked and dry sausage produ\u00adcers Koet\u00adsier Vlees\u00adwa\u00adren and Keulen Vlees\u00adwa\u00adren, as well as Gebroe\u00adders Snij\u00adders Vlees\u00adwa\u00adren\u00adfa\u00adb\u00adriek and VLL Vers Logis\u00adtiek Limburg.<\/p>\n<p>This acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion also enab\u00adled Group of Butchers to expand its service offe\u00adring in the area of slicing and pack\u00ada\u00adging of meat products. It also ente\u00adred the German market at the end of 2018 with the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of Hart\u00admann GmbH, a leading manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer of minced meat products based in Waren\u00addorf in North Rhine-West\u00adpha\u00adlia, and the Gmyrek Group, a tradi\u00adtio\u00adnal meat and sausage manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer based in Gifhorn in Lower Saxony. July 2019 also saw the addi\u00adtion of Schou\u00adten Vlees\u00adwa\u00adren, a BBQ and grill\u00adware specia\u00adlist for the Dutch market.
