Karls\u00adruhe, Germany \u2014 Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy inves\u00adtor LEA Part\u00adners (\u201cLEA\u201d) is selling IDL, a leading provi\u00adder of finan\u00adcial perfor\u00admance manage\u00adment soft\u00adware (FPM), to insightsoft\u00adware, a global leader in finan\u00adcial report\u00ading and enter\u00adprise perfor\u00admance manage\u00adment solu\u00adti\u00adons. Behind insightsoft\u00adware are the two private equity inves\u00adtors TA Asso\u00adcia\u00adtes <\/strong>and Genstar Capi\u00adtal<\/strong>. The parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose the key points of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion. The closing of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is subject to anti\u00adtrust clearance and is expec\u00adted in the course of this year. This is the second exit for LEA from the \u20ac200m B2B tech fund focu\u00adsed on soft\u00adware compa\u00adnies from the DACH region.<\/p>\n

IDL has specia\u00adli\u00adzed in the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of FPM soft\u00adware solu\u00adti\u00adons for conso\u00adli\u00adda\u00adtion, plan\u00adning, analy\u00adsis and report\u00ading since 1990. Clas\u00adsi\u00adfied by the analyst firm BARC as a market leader with a top posi\u00adtion in the area of \u201cPort\u00adfo\u00adlio Capa\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adties\u201d, IDL serves corpo\u00adrate groups and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally opera\u00adting medium-sized compa\u00adnies in a wide range of industries.<\/p>\n

LEA\u2019s invest\u00adment was made in early 2019 based on its stra\u00adtegy of inves\u00adt\u00ading in leading soft\u00adware compa\u00adnies with high shares of recur\u00adring reve\u00adnue and substan\u00adtial growth poten\u00adtial. LEA was convin\u00adced by IDL\u2019s unique market posi\u00adtion of provi\u00adding mission-criti\u00adcal soft\u00adware to a broad and loyal custo\u00admer base. LEA supported IDL in its trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion from a foun\u00adder-led company to a leading FPM provi\u00adder in the German-spea\u00adking region. Key initia\u00adti\u00adves here were the expan\u00adsion of the manage\u00adment team, the estab\u00adlish\u00adment of an indi\u00adrect part\u00adner sales chan\u00adnel, and the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of a compre\u00adhen\u00adsive M&A stra\u00adtegy. IDL was able to signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly expand its custo\u00admer base during this period and signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly acce\u00adle\u00adrate growth in reve\u00adnues and EBITDA.<\/p>\n
