Over\u00adall, the company gene\u00adra\u00adted a loss of \u20ac23.1 million (2019: \u20ac17.34 million). More than 1,500 employees work for hear.com, inclu\u00adding almost 200 techs.<\/p>\n
\nOnline hearing aid retailer Audi\u00adbene was sold to hearing aid manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer Sivan\u00adtos in 2015. The two foun\u00adders Paul Crusius and Marco Vietor remained on board as mana\u00adging direc\u00adtors. As part of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, both foun\u00adders, who previously held a majo\u00adrity stake in Audi\u00adbene, will receive shares in Sivan\u00adtos Group.<\/p>\n

\nThe company aims to raise $100 million through the IPO. Among other things, this will be used to repay share\u00adhol\u00adder loans to WS Audio\u00adlogy that fall due between 2021 and 2023. In addi\u00adtion, a plan\u00adned restruc\u00adtu\u00adring is to be put on a stable footing, and the rema\u00adin\u00adder is to be used for gene\u00adral corpo\u00adrate purpo\u00adses, inclu\u00adding finan\u00adcing further growth and imple\u00admen\u00adting the busi\u00adness stra\u00adtegy.
