Geneva \u2014 Uniges\u00adtion<\/strong>, the inde\u00adpen\u00addent specia\u00adli\u00adzed asset mana\u00adger, comple\u00adted the third closing of its private equity direct fund Uniges\u00adtion Direct II<\/strong> in May, brin\u00adging the total size of the fund to 375 million euros.<\/p>\n

The final target figure is 600 million euros<\/strong>. In June, the fund also comple\u00adted its second invest\u00adment. In addi\u00adtion, the first closing of the secon\u00addary fund Uniges\u00adtion Secon\u00addary V<\/strong>, with a total volume of EUR 228 million (EUR 700 million final target volume), took place on June 10.<\/p>\n

The success of these deals reflects inves\u00adtors\u2019 appe\u00adtite for expo\u00adsure to direct and secon\u00addary market tran\u00adsac\u00adtions in small and mid-sized compa\u00adnies in the private equity market in the current econo\u00admic environment.<\/p>\n

As the impact of the COVID-19 pande\u00admic is felt in finan\u00adcial markets, Uniges\u00adtion anti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtes a growing number of attrac\u00adtive oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties going forward, as a result of lower valua\u00adtions, limi\u00adted avai\u00adla\u00adbi\u00adlity of debt capi\u00adtal and an increase in poten\u00adtial sellers.<\/p>\n

Both funds conti\u00adnue to attract well-known inves\u00adtors from North America, Austra\u00adlia and Europe, inclu\u00adding pres\u00adti\u00adgious corpo\u00adra\u00adti\u00adons, pension funds and high net worth investors.<\/p>\n

Uniges\u00adtion Direct II
\n<\/strong>Uniges\u00adtion Direct II\u2019s stra\u00adtegy is to build a port\u00adfo\u00adlio of direct invest\u00adments in small and medium-sized compa\u00adnies in sectors whose growth is driven by long-term trends.
