The resour\u00adces from the growth fund are inten\u00added to support inno\u00adva\u00adtive and tech\u00adno\u00adlogy-orien\u00adted start-ups in the Free State of Bava\u00adria in conclu\u00adding large-volume finan\u00adcing rounds in coope\u00adra\u00adtion with private investors.<\/p>\n<p>Bava\u00adria\u2019s Minis\u00adter of Econo\u00admic Affairs Hubert Aiwan\u00adger: \u201cWith the first Bava\u00adrian Growth Fund, we have alre\u00adady supported many inno\u00adva\u00adtive compa\u00adnies. Now, toge\u00adther with Bayern Kapi\u00adtal, we are conti\u00adnuing the successful concept with the Bava\u00adrian Growth Fund 2: We support young compa\u00adnies with growth finan\u00adcing to successfully place their product on the market and deve\u00adlop into successful, inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally compe\u00adti\u00adtive compa\u00adnies in the long&nbsp;term.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The track record of the Bava\u00adrian Growth Fund speaks for itself: Over the past five years, Bayern Kapi\u00adtal has inves\u00adted a total of 70 million euros in 23 start-ups from the fund, mobi\u00adli\u00adzing a further 300 million euros of private capi\u00adtal for Bava\u00adria\u2019s foun\u00adders through coope\u00adra\u00adtion with dome\u00adstic and foreign inves\u00adtors, such as private venture capi\u00adta\u00adlists and family offices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParti\u00adcu\u00adlarly in the tech\u00adno\u00adlogy sector, compa\u00adnies not only need deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment time for long-term success, but above all finan\u00adcial support. A gene\u00adral condi\u00adtion for parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion by the Bava\u00adrian Growth Fund 2 is that at least one other private inves\u00adtor commits on the same terms. Thus, the start-ups not only have the pros\u00adpect of larger capi\u00adtal volu\u00admes, but also bene\u00adfit from the exper\u00adtise as well as the regio\u00adnal and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal network of the invest\u00adment partners.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThroug\u00adhout the Free State, Bava\u00adria\u2019s foun\u00adders are produ\u00adcing exci\u00adting and inno\u00adva\u00adtive busi\u00adness models \u2014 from Passau to W\u00fcrz\u00adburg, from Regens\u00adburg to Augs\u00adburg. Howe\u00adver, in order to succeed on the market, young compa\u00adnies are often depen\u00addent on state finan\u00adcing instru\u00adments. This is true both in times of econo\u00admic weak\u00adness and in growth phases. Without targe\u00adted support, promi\u00adsing ideas would often fall by the wayside at crucial moments because the compa\u00adnies lack money for larger invest\u00adments.
