As part of a capi\u00adtal market tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal inves\u00adtors acqui\u00adred around 18.2% of LPKF\u2019s share capi\u00adtal, previously held by Bant\u00adleon subsi\u00addiary <strong>German Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy<\/strong> AG, as well as the 10.4% stake held by J\u00f6rg Bant\u00adleon, owner of the Bant\u00adleon&nbsp;Group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe broad place\u00adment to insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal inves\u00adtors has the advan\u00adtage for LPKF of signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly grea\u00adter inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal visi\u00adbi\u00adlity at inves\u00adtor level follo\u00adwing its promo\u00adtion to the SDAX,\u201d explains J\u00f6rg Schu\u00adbert, CEO of the invest\u00adment company German Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy AG, which is part of the Bant\u00adleon Bank&nbsp;Group.<\/p>\n<p>The Bant\u00adleon Group had held a stake in LPKF since June 2016 and, with Dr. Markus Peters, had been repre\u00adsen\u00adted on the Super\u00advi\u00adsory Board since 2017. <strong>Hauck &amp; Aufh\u00e4u\u00adser<\/strong> acted as sole global coor\u00addi\u00adna\u00adtor and sole book\u00adrun\u00adner for the place\u00adment of LPKF shares.<\/p>\n<p>As an alter\u00adna\u00adtive to placing LPKF shares on the capi\u00adtal market, the Bant\u00adleon Group had prepared the sale of the entire 28.6% stake to stra\u00adte\u00adgic inves\u00adtors or finan\u00adcial inves\u00adtors. The McDer\u00admott team also provi\u00added compre\u00adhen\u00adsive advice to the Bant\u00adleon Group in connec\u00adtion with this struc\u00adtu\u00adred M&amp;A process.<\/p>\n<p>LPKF Laser &amp; Elec\u00adtro\u00adnics AG is a provi\u00adder of laser-based solu\u00adti\u00adons for the tech\u00adno\u00adlogy indus\u00adtry with a current market capi\u00adta\u00adliza\u00adtion of around \u20ac 530 million. The Bant\u00adleon Group is an asset mana\u00adger with a focus on insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal invest\u00adments and loca\u00adti\u00adons in Germany and Switz\u00ader\u00adland.
