The Rheine-based company is the market leader for walking aids and fore\u00adarm supports in Germany and, for its part, had taken over the second largest supplier in this market segment \u2014 Erwin Kowsky GmbH in Neum\u00fcns\u00adter \u2014 in the middle of last&nbsp;year.<\/p>\n<p>The Ossen\u00adberg Group is the leading German manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adrer of aids for the walking impai\u00adred. The tradi\u00adtio\u00adnal company deve\u00adlops, produ\u00adces and sells fore\u00adarm walking aids, light metal canes and ortho\u00adpe\u00addic aids. The medium-sized company, with around 100 employees, has been selling its products through specia\u00adlist dealers for around six deca\u00addes \u2014 in recent years also very successfully worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Both compa\u00adnies have agreed to further inten\u00adsify the strong growth course of the past years in the future. Former share\u00adhol\u00adder Cars\u00adten Diek\u00admann will remain with the company as mana\u00adging part\u00adner. Frank Wieditz will leave the company in Febru\u00adary 2020. Both parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose finan\u00adcial infor\u00adma\u00adtion about the transaction.<\/p>\n<p>For the Osna\u00adbr\u00fcck-based two.7 family equity firm, this is the first successful acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion in the Health\u00adCare sector, since its foun\u00adda\u00adtion in spring 2018.  <strong>Kars\u00adten Wulf (photo)<\/strong>, co-owner of the buw Group for more than 30 years, had laun\u00adched the two.7 Group in Osna\u00adbr\u00fcck after the successful sale of the call center (6,000 employees, sold to Conver\u00adgys in 2016).
